Welcoming all youth ages 11 to 17-years-old to join our adventures!
The focus of our 70-year-old Troop is to teach leadership, life and citizenship skills through outdoor activities, community service, and encouraging responsibility in a fun, energetic and exciting program! Our Troop is truly a scout led organization. They are the decision makers in the activities and achievements that are done within the Troop, for instance, annual planning and participation in Troop Committee meeting where they are included in the events and support needed for the Troop. We pride ourselves on how we promote the majority of our scouts to Eagle.
Our Troop puts the “outing” in “Scouting”! We are an active Troop with a long history of hiking, biking, backpacking, and paddle craft. Our paddle craft program consists of both canoes and sea kayaks that allow us to do day or weekend excursions all over Oregon and Washington. Our camping outings are goal oriented to help the scouts develop skills and build life experiences.

For over 100 years, our program has helped create generations of leaders and outstanding citizens by allowing boys and girls to explore their interests, serve their communities, and discover their talents through youth-led activities like hiking, camping, and volunteering!

Scouting America is chartered by Congress to serve our nation’s youth by instilling the values of the Scout Oath and Law. We welcome, at every level of our movement, youth and families who wish to live such a life of impact and purpose, guided by the Scout Oath and Law.

In the outdoors, Scouts have opportunities to acquire skills that make them more self-reliant. They can explore canoe and hiking trails and complete challenges they first thought were beyond their ability. Attributes of good character become part of them as they learn to cooperate to meet outdoor challenges .
